How it works

Simple to apply. Simple to live with.

U-RO Bag™ is designed so a patient, a caregiver, or a nurse can apply it in minutes, without tools or a suction unit.

Application

One piece.

Final instructions for use will be provided with the product. The steps below describe the intended process.

1

Prepare the skin

Clean and dry the area. No shaving or skin prep products are required.

2

Apply the adhesive panel

Position the opening and press the silicone gel panel gently against the skin. It bonds without pulling.

3

Connect the drain

Attach the outlet to a standard leg bag for daytime or a bedside bag at night.

4

Remove and reapply as needed

Peel away without residue. The adhesive can be reapplied, so a repositioning doesn't waste a device.

Who it helps

The four types of male urinary incontinence.

U-RO Bag™ collects urine externally regardless of cause, so it can support men across all four.

30%

Stress

Leakage with coughing, sneezing, laughing, or lifting.

60%

Urge

A sudden, strong urge followed by leakage.

20%

Overflow

Incomplete emptying that leads to dribbling.

Mixed

Functional

Mobility or cognitive barriers to reaching a bathroom in time.

Percentages reflect overlap; many men experience more than one type.

Why it's different

Designed around the problems other options create.

No catheter in the urethra

Indwelling catheters cause about 93,000 catheter-associated UTIs a year in acute care. U-RO Bag™ stays outside the body.

No wet skin

Pads hold moisture against skin, driving moisture-associated damage in 45.7% of hospital patients and 89% in nursing homes. The front vent keeps urine moving away.

No suction unit

Some external systems need an $875 pump. U-RO Bag™ drains by gravity into a standard bag, so it works at home, in a car, or in a wheelchair.
